ABOUT ME

Artist's Statement

I make performances which include music made by my own voice or home-made non-traditional instruments. 
The research behind the imagery of my work includes folkloric ritual and quantum entanglement. I want to create work which expresses my discomfort at being solely earthbound and of this dimension. I am a fish out of water, a dream out of context, socially awkward, seeking fellow objects and sounds that have leaked and strayed into this world and time. 
In sharing this state via my presence in the room, using visual and sung performance, I mean to communicate transcendentally, beyond spoken language.
